The Social development Council of Cornwall and area , Growing Up Organics and The Boys & Girls Club of Cornwall/SDG have partnered together to create, educate and grow vegetables and at both our Henry st Clubhouse and our 506 Clubhouse. Over the next 2 months and this summer our members will learn what to plant, where to plant, when to plant and how to harvest. Our members will be participating in a series of workshops in which they will learn to properly care for a vegetable garden from beginning to end. At the end of the summer the members will get to taste test all the yummy vegetables that they have grown. The goal of this program is to teach our members the importance of healthy eating but also teach them how to grow their own food!
