The Boys & Girls Club of Cornwall/SDG has entered into the McDougall Family Fund Contest. Winners of this contest can win $5000 for their organization. We created a great video for this contest that you can watch here. You can vote everyday from May 24 to May 31. Please share the link and help out the Boys & Girls Club.
Here is a little about what our Club does:
This is a video created by the Boys & Girls Club of Cornwall/SDG highlighting some of the work we do with teens and children in an effort to put a stop to bullying. Each February we help orchestrate Pink Shirt Day in CornwallSDG. Boys & Girls Club of Cornwall/SDG is a local charity working with children and youth in Cornwall and area. We provide a safe, supportive environment for children and teens to attend after school. Our After School Program consists of a healthy snack, 1 hour of physical activity, health and wellness activities, discussions on nutrition and homework help. Our teen program provides a safe place for teens to hang out and be constructive. We offer homework help, mentoring, life skills coaching and positive role models to the youth of Cornwall. We also offer volunteering opportunities to our youth in an effort to promote being charitable. Each evening we provide our with healthy meals and snacks. The money raised from this contest would be put directly into our teen programs as it is not funded through grants.
